Hilary Mantel is the author of ten novels, a short story collection and a memoir, Giving Up The Ghost.  She has won many prizes and honours for her work, including the CBE.  Her work covers an astonishing range of themes, historical periods and international settings – from revolutionary Paris to 20th century Saudi Arabia, the court of Henry VIII to small town contemporary northern England.

In 2011 she became an Honorary Graduate of the University of Exeter.

After the event refreshments will be available in the University’s stunning new Forum building.

Copies of Bring Up the Bodies will be on sale and Hilary Mantel will be available to sign them.
