ESRC Impact Acceleration Account Application workshops

Event details

Information:

The ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) provides funding to enable our academics to build impact arising out of existing social sciences research, creating and strengthening relationships with non-academic partners.

Ahead of the next application deadline of 6 April 2016, the ESRC IAA team is holding workshops for potential applicants to enable researchers to find out more and to start to write their applications. This will be the penultimate round of funding for the larger grant streams, Project Co-creation and Knowledge Exchange Fellowships, so those with any interest in applying to the scheme are warmly encouraged to attend.

We will:

  • Look at research areas covered by the ESRC IAA
  • Explore the four funding streams offered by the UoE scheme
  • Discuss ideas put forward by workshop participants
  • Go through the application process and the form to consider how best to supply relevant information

Team members are always available to offer one to one support; and in addition these workshops are an opportunity to find out more about the IAA and to begin to draft an application.

There are two workshops taking place one at Streatham Campus and the second at St Luke's Campus on Tuesday 26 January:

11.00 - 12.30
Streatham Campus, Building One Marchant Syndicate Room

14.30 - 16.00
St Luke’s Campus, South Cloisters 1.23

Colleagues in Cornwall are asked to contact the IAA team for bespoke support.
