ExIStA has reached its 1st Anniversary! To mark this achievement we are holding an anniversary event for all members.
A brief introduction from Steve Brooks, highlighting the successes of ExIStA over the past year, will be followed by a poster session with refreshments and lots of opportunity for networking.
We would like to invite members to present their work and hope that the posters will cover the wide range of statistical activity that has occurred over the last year, both within the University and local private and public sector organisations.
A £100 cash poster prize is available for the best poster from an early career member, donated by Select Statistics. ExIStA also now has an Early Career Section .
If you'd like to come to this event, please use our registration page (the deadline for poster submission is 17th November 2012).
Please contact us at events@exista.org if you have any problems or questions regarding participation in this event.
About ExIStA
ExIStA is the region's centre for statistical expertise. Initial support is being provided by a development fund award from Bridging the Gaps, led by Professor Steve Brooks.
ExIStA aims to bring together statisticians working in the University and the local public and private sector organisations to foster and promote inter-disciplinary statistical activity. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of the use and value of statistical methods and to support statisticians in continuing to develop and apply their skills.
If you have any questions about ExIStA please contact Steve Brooks.
