In this one hour webinar, staff from the UK Data Archive will provide an overview of the main areas of research data management focussing on data of interest to the social scientist.
The topics covered will be:

- Data management planning for researchers
- Documenting and contextualising data
- Formatting data
- Storing data, security, transfer, encryption and backup
- Ethics and consent
- Data copyright
There will be a 20 minute slot after the main presentation to take questions.
