| Time | 12:00 to 15:30 |
| Place | Forum Seminar 7 |
This workshop aims to support researchers, managers/administrators who are involved in creating REF impact case studies. Developed by the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement, the course is informed by on-going contact with the REF team.
Workshop details
Claire Packman (Communications Officer, Egenis) and Grace Williams (Communications and Impact Officer, Centre for Medical History) will be delivering the workshop alongside staff from Research and Knowledge Transfer. The course follows on from a training session which Claire and Grace recently attended and found extremely useful. Using your own case study, you will:
• Develop an understanding of the formal requirements for REF impact case studies;
• Explore how to create a convincing and compelling narrative;
• Explore the issues and challenges of providing evidence of impact to underpin the case study;
• Apply these insights to your draft case study.
It is primarily aimed at case study authors, however researchers and support staff who work on developing case studies are welcome.
