About this course:

This course will help you to explore equality, diversity and inclusion in the context of the University community.It is highly interactive and will enable you to explore not only what equality, diversity and inclusion means for you personally but the opportunity to talk with colleagues about what it means practically in the context of your role.It will highlight how each of us makes a difference and how we ensure that the University provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all staff and students.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand the terms equality, diversity and inclusion.

- Understand why it is important for the University to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

- Have explored a range of scenarios and know how to obtain advice and support or signpost others.

- Understand how our personal contribution makes a difference.

Who should attend this course:

This course is suitable for all members of staff but is particularly highlighted for staff who do not have access to alternative e learning options.
