Time Management (Bite Size) Module 1: Getting Things Done

Description

Who is it for?

All staff who are looking to improve their time management skills.

What is it about?

This session is one of three parts and teaches you practical techniques to better manage your time.

This session is will focus on a number of key areas which include.

1) setting up an efficient routine including reminders to help manage your work.

2) handling meetings, phone calls and unwanted visitors more effectively.

3) making better use of your computer.

4) minimising unproductive time.

What will I get out of it?

By changing your work practices after the session and starting to embed some of the approaches/techniques covered you should be able to start to manage your work more efficiently and ultimately gain more time as a result.

Specifically you may find you.

1) have introduced a system which helps manage your work.

2) have set up an efficient workspace.

3) can handle interruptions more effectively.

4) have freed up more time.
