Excel 2007: Simple Worksheets (with Formulae and Basic Functions)

Description

What is it about?

This course covers the fundamentals of Excel.

Together with updating and editing existing worksheets, you will learn the principles of creating formulae and basic functions.

Course Content.

1/ Explore and navigate the Excel environment.

2/ Create a new Workbook.

3/ Selecting cells and ranges.

4/ Adjusting column widths and row height.

5/ Inserting columns and rows.

6/ Formatting data including; text, numbers/data and format painter.

7/ Using Autofill to create lists (numbers, months, days, dates).

8/ Creating basic formulae including; add, subtract, multiply, divide and percentages.

9/ Relative and absolute cell references.

10/ Copy a formula using Autofill.

11/ Using basic functions : Sum, Average, Max, Min and Count.

12/ Printing Excel worksheets.

Is there anything I need to do before attending?

You do not require prior knowledge of Excel, but basic mouse navigating and keyboard skills are useful.
