Access 2007: Creating Queries
| Description | Who is it for? You should have attended (or be familiar with the concepts covered) in the Using Databases course and, ideally, the Designing and Creating Databases course.
What is it about? Queries help you interrogate your data to view only records which match your criteria. You can also use queries to update fields and create new tables.This course focuses on select queries and includes some grouping and aggregation (Totals queries).
What will I get out of it? 1/ Creating select queries in design view. 2/ Retrieving data using criteria: Text, Numbers and Dates. 3/ Parameters in queries. 4/ Queries on linked (related) tables. 5/ Grouping and aggregating records.
