AccessAbility - CAL Information Session
| Description | Aims: To have the knowledge and skills needed to be able to provide practical support in the library to people with disabilities. Learning Outcomes: The session aims to explain the role of the College AccessAbility Liaison (CAL) and the role of the AccessAbility Adviser. It will provide an overview of how AccessAbility supports students, and will provide an opportunity for information sharing. By the end of the session, participants should be able to understand their role as a CAL and how students with disabilities can be supported at the university.
Additional Information: Ensuring accessibility - All information will be written in plain English and printed according to the RNIB's clear print guidelines (i.e. Arial, 12 point or above). Participants will be provided with handouts. Should you require: -Information in an alternative format (e.g.in large print or on disc). -The use of a hearing loop. | ||||||||||||||
