Identifying and Using Digital Content in Your Teaching
| Description | This session will introduce you to a wide variety of digital content that is available for you to reuse or adapt for your teaching and will also give you greater awareness of relevant aspects of copyright/IPR which will govern the use of these materials in the educational context. Contributors to this event include the team of Academic Support consultants from Library Learning & Research Support at the University of Exeter. By the end of the session you will: 1 Have refreshed your understanding of effective online search strategies to find and evaluate digital content. 2 Be familiar with major resource banks for digital content. 3 Have a greater awareness of aspects of IPR/copyright within an educational context. 4 Have an appreciation of the risk factors involved when creating or re-purposing resources for teaching and learning. 5 Know where to go for further advice and information.
