Basic Fire Safety (CAMPUS SERVICES)

Description

To increase your awareness of Fire Safety and prepare you for any incidents that may occur.

THIS SESSION IS BOOKABLE BY CAMPUS SERVICES STAFF ONLY.

Course Style: Classroom learning programme - fully supported by handouts and visual aids.

Aims and Outcomes:

-The need for fire safety (History & Legislation).

-Means of escape.

-Classes of fire.

-Types of fire fighting equipment.

-Fire routines/evacuation procedures.

Course Outcomes: -Explain why we need fire safety.

-Describe different types of fire.

-Describe different types of fire fighting equipment.

-Explain what to do in the event of a fire (procedures)
