| Description | To increase your awareness and explore your understanding of Bodily Fluids and Sharps. Course Style: Informal and highly participative with active discussion. Who Should Attend: All staff who encounter bodily fluids and/or sharps.
Aims and Outcomes: Course Aims: - Protective equipment. - Hand washing. - Needles and blades. - Blood or body substances. - Disposal of waste. - Inoculation injury. - Vaccination. Course Outcomes: - Explain the importance of hand washing. - Explain the importance of personal protective clothing. - Describe a variety of control measures when dealing with bodily fluids and sharps. - Describe the process of safe waste disposal.
