Introduction To Procurement

Description

This course will provide an overview of Procurement Services, introduce what Procurement is and what the University expects staff who are authorised to buy goods and services to consider when thinking 'I have a need'.

Aims and Outcomes:

- Understand Procurement Services structure and what they do.

- What procurement means and why is it important.

- Find out about the processes and systems used when buying goods / services.

- Principles of 'Good Procurement'.

- Who can help.

- Identify development needs.
