Look at some definitions for Gross Research Income and Earnings. Work through some research applications to highlight how FEC is applied in different circumstances. Who Should Attend University staff who deal directly or indirectly with Research Grants, College Budgets and/or TRAC returns. Professional Services staff who interact with Business Support (incorporating Research Accounting). Aims and Outcomes: To gain a broad understanding of the TRAC process and how rates are derived.
