| Description | Course Title Emergency Response & Business Continuity (Introduction).
Who is it for? Assistant Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders.
What is it about? This training provides an overview of the Universitys major incident emergency response arrangements. It also provides an introduction to the principles of business continuity.
What will I get out of it? Participants will better understand how the University would respond to a major emergency and how they could support the University's response by providing leadership to their staff, students and visitors. Participants will understand the University's Gold, Silver, Bronze incident response levels and will have an appreciation of how Business Continuity Planning can help them recover from a major disruption. Course overview. The topics covered include: Types of emergency that could happen at a University. Emergency services operations on campus. How the University has prepared.
