Health & Safety: Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
| Description | Working with harmful substances, hazard identification & risk assessment, toxicity, routes of entry, types of control measures, disposal of waste, summary of the COSSH Regulations, the University COSSH Assessment form and procedures.
Who is it for? The course is aimed at scientific staff and postgraduates assessing, or working with, processes involving hazardous substances (eg; chemicals, biochemicals, pathogens, etc). Staff assessing, or working with, hazardous agents (eg; dusts, aerosol sprays, solvents, cleaning agents, etc).
