Health & Safety: Office Safety & Computer Workstations
| Description | Health and Safety hazards arising from working in an office, arising from: temperature, humidity, lighting, noise, space, layout of room, house-keeping, electrical equipment (including IT) and stress. Health problems related to Computer Workstations, the Display Screen Equipment Regulations, ideal layout of work stations, the University DSE Assessment form and procedures.
Who is it for? This course is for staff who normally work in an office environment, staff who are regular users of display screen equipment (eg secretaries, computer operators, etc) and their supervisors / assessors.
