Health & Safety: Fire Safety (Advanced)
| Description | The course will consist of three elements: a) the Safety Media 'Fire Safety Interactive' e-learning course. This part of the course needs to be completed before attending the face to face session. Please contact the Health & Safety Office for joining instructions: hse.office@ex.ac.uk. b) a face to face session, theory (to consolidate the e-learning training). c) a practical session on fire extinguishment (PLEASE WEAR OLD CLOTHES).
Who is it for? This is an advanced MANDATORY course for the following job categories: 1) Estate Patrol staff. 2) Campus Services Property Services staff. 3) Campus Services, Grounds staff. 4) Staff who work in laboratories (academic / technical staff). 5) Designated University Fire Marshals. 6) Building Facilities staff. 7) Residence Managers. 8) School / Services Safety Officers. 9) Kitchen staff. 10) Managers with responsibility for health and safety.
