Deadline for the photo competition is the 25th March 2012

Student sustainability photo competition

A new photography competition with sustainability as its focus has just been launched for students across all campuses.

This competition seeks images that demonstrate or document the issues of sustainability at our campuses and their wider communities.

It will operate alongside a number of student led projects and events that engage with the University’s sustainability strategies. These projects, competitions and events form part of the University’s Santander funded sustainability project.

The Santander Sustainability Projects will cover six themes, and while the photography competition clearly falls into ‘communicating the issues’ it may also be informed by the other themes of biodiversity, sustainability in learning, food, resources and recycling. The images may also engage with, or be informed by, the student led projects.

The deadline is 25th March 2012. For more information on how to enter, benefits and other specifics please see the photography competition webpage.

For more information of the Santander Sustainability Projects, which is currently open for applicants, please see the project webpage or contact Finn Woodhill.

Date: 3 November 2011
