Songs, sketches and surprises on the world view of Gaia Theory
Gaia – the Cabaret is coming to the University on Wednesday 17 October.
This unique event is scheduled to take place between 13:00-14:30 on the Great Hall Piazza. If the weather is not suitable for an outside performance the event will be held in M&D room, Devonshire House. The show runs for approximately 1 hour 10 minutes, is free of charge and includes an interactive and entertaining cabaret performance as well as a Q&A session with the creator, Peter Horton.
Gaia - the Cabaret was originally commissioned for James Lovelock’s 90th birthday party and has been performed to critical acclaim at the Science Museum in London, The Times Cheltenham Science Festival and the Manchester Museum.
Karen Gallagher Sustainability Manager said: “ We are delighted to have the Gaia - the cabaret performing on the Streatham campus and I am sure staff, students and visitors will be intrigued by the performance and its fresh way of thinking.”
