Holding an outdoor grassed event on campus
If you would like to book The Forum Street or the The Forum Piazzas, please complete The Forum Booking Form.
If you would like to book an outdoor event on grassed areas, please complete the Outdoor Grassed Event Booking Form at least five working days before the event.
Please attach the approved and signed off risk assessment with the outdoor grassed event booking form; we cannot proceed with your application without the risk assessment.

The Grounds Team reserves the right to review events and, due to the ongoing fluid situation, events may be cancelled at short notice.

F – Grassed area on Rennes Drive by Streatham Court
G – Grassed triangle at the bottom of Stocker Road
H – Grassed area opposite Car Park A
I – Magnolia Lawn to the rear of the Xfi building
J – Lawn at Lopes Hall
K – Lawn at Duryard Hall
L – Grassed area behind the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies building
You will be required to complete a risk assessment for each event at least three working days prior to the event. If you do not have one prepared, please complete the Event Management Risk Assessment Tool.
Please also refer to the relevant information below when planning your outdoor event.

Suitable for marquees and gazebos. No ball games on the lawn please. This is close to the barbecue point and tennis courts. Low footfall area near the Lafrowda Halls area.
Large areas suitable for marquee or gazebos. This is a low footfall area, but is surrounded by the Duryard residences.
The availability of this area may be restricted by the INTO exam schedule.
Large area suitable for small events such as picnics (around 20/30 people). A more secluded, low footfall area.
Main area in the centre of St Luke's. Used for volleyball during the summer period, but other ball games are not permitted at any time. Suitable for marquees or gazebos and larger events (around 200/300 people).
