Becks Boomer-Clark

Independent Member since August 2024

Becks Boomer-Clark is currently the Chief Executive of Lift Schools (formerly Academies Enterprise Trust), one of the largest multi-academy trusts in England and has significant experience in the national policy landscape, with an active presence on several national advisory boards and connections with Department for Education. An experienced school leader, she was Director of Secondary at Ark Schools from 2017 to 2021.

Prior to that, she worked for the DfE as Regional Schools Commissioner for South-West England. Rebecca also worked at Oasis Community Learning for eight years in a variety of roles, initially as a Vice Principal and Principal in Bristol, before becoming a Regional Director and then National Education Director at the multi-academy trust. Becks is also a Trustee at Ambition Institute and Jamie's Farm. She completed her BA (Hons) in History/Sport & Recreation Studies at the University of Birmingham and her PGCE at the University of Exeter.
