Gareth Mostyn has broad experience spanning the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, drawn from board-level roles across finance, strategy and general management. He is currently Non-Executive Director of South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (where he chairs the Finance, Performance & Investment Committee) and Non-Executive Director of Sovereign Network Group (SNG) Housing Association (where he chairs the Audit & Risk Committee).
Gareth was Chief Executive of the Church Commissioners for England from 2020-2025, prior to which he was the Chief Finance & Operations Officer for the Church of England (2018-2020). Previously, Gareth held senior roles in large multi-national companies, including at De Beers Group where he was Chief Financial Officer and latterly the Board Director responsible for Strategy and Corporate Affairs. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a graduate of Durham University in Business Economics.
