Anna Bawden
Anna is the Strategic Portfolio Partner (Research and Impact) providing support to the Vice-President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Impact), Professor Krasimira Tsaneva-Atanasova.
Anna provides support across the Research and Impact portfolio from policy through to strategic projects and initiatives. She is based in the Office of the Senior Vice-President and Registrar and Secretary, and works closely with colleagues across Research Services to help realise our research ambitions in Strategy 2030.

Leanne Heath
Leanne Heath is the Strategic Portfolio Partner (Wellbeing, People & Culture) providing support to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (People & Culture) Professor Rajani Naidoo. Her role is to provide executive support across the Deputy Vice Chancellor’s portfolio, which includes responsibility for supporting the University’s People strategy, and oversight of the University’s Wellbeing, Inclusion and Culture Committee portfolio. Leanne joined the University in February 2023. Prior to this, Leanne has worked in Widening Participation roles at the University of Southampton and the University of Winchester, focused on improving access for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Leanne has also worked within the education and voluntary sectors.
Leanne holds a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) from the University of Southampton, and a BA in Art and Visual Culture from the University of the West of England.

Annemarie Cooper
Annemarie Cooper is the Executive PA to the President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lisa Roberts, providing executive support through diary management, managing complex schedules, coordinating internal and external meetings, and dealing with correspondence and coordination of UK travel arrangements.
Annemarie joined the University in January 2024. Prior to this, she was the Senior Executive Assistant to the President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Nottingham and has previously supported other senior leaders in HE, NHS and Government since 2006.

Nich Turner
Nich joined the University in 2013 as part of the Internal Communications Team, having previously worked as Communications Officer for Mid Devon District Council. He joined the Vice-Chancellor’s Office in 2022. Nich has a BA in Archaeology and an MA in Landscape Archaeology, both from the University of Exeter.
