Dr Victoria Alcock is the Head of the Vice-Chancellor's Office and provides executive support to the Vice-Chancellor through speech-writing, drafting reports, policy research and management of correspondence and diary prioritisation. She also manages the PA support to the Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellors.

Victoria joined the University in September 2006. Prior to this, she held various executive support roles in the public sector, and was Research Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, Sir Graeme Davies, from 2003-2006. She has a BA in History from the University of Sheffield and an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge.
