Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice (Level 6)

Information Session Tuesday 14th Sept 11am

A psychological wellbeing practitioner (PWP) is a mental health worker who supports those who are experiencing common mental health difficulties. PWPs carry out low-intensity interventions based on cognitive-behavioural therapy, including psychoeducation groups, computerised or text-based support and 1:1 guided self-help treatment.

This apprenticeship is now open to any organisation with a wellbeing, psychological support, or employee care function, whether delivered internally or through external partners. It is also relevant to colleagues working in clinical, wellbeing, pastoral, support, or employee facing roles, where developing early psychological support skills would enhance existing provision. If your organisation is exploring ways to strengthen early psychological support, reduce reliance on external pathways, or build sustainable internal capability, a PWP apprentice can become a valuable addition to your wellbeing ecosystem.

This online information session is an opportunity to learn more about the programme and to ask questions.
