Event details
As the politics of the low carbon transition becomes ever more contested, arguments about its costs are again coming to the fore. What does it mean to make the transition cost-effectively? Which costs matter, and which policies are effective? And how should one country’s efforts relate to the global context? This talk will draw on work from the Economics of Energy Innovation and System Transition project, the book ‘Five Times Faster: Rethinking the Science, Economics, and Diplomacy of Climate Change’, and ongoing project work by the research organisation S-Curve Economics (www.scurveeconomics.org)
