The Health Professions Education & Wellbeing Research Group are hosting a seminar led by Professor Jill Maben and Professor Cath Taylor, from the University of Surrey, which will explore how healthcare staff (particularly nurses, midwives and paramedics) can care well under pressure and thrive at work. Jill and Cath lead the Workforce, Organisation and Wellbeing (WOW) Expert Group at Surrey, which aims to undertake high quality research and educational innovation that will inform practice and support the wellbeing of the healthcare workforce to ensure optimal staff and patient outcomes.
