Event details
Oliver Gadsby, Publisher and Charity Trustee, in conversation with Professor Li Li and Professor Adam Watt is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26 November 2025, 17:00-18:00 in Lecture Theatre 1, Queen’s Building, on the University’s Streatham Campus.
There will be the option to join the event remotely, via Teams Webinar.
The conversation will explore the key role Oliver's undergraduate degree in French and German has played in his career and his experience of the powerful skill set that comes with knowledge of multiple languages.
The conversation will be followed by a Q&A for school students, hosted by Professor Fiona Cox, Head of the Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies department.
The event will bring together our local foreign Modern Languages teachers and their students, Exeter Alumni, current staff and students of Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies at the University of Exeter.
A drinks reception will take place in the Queen's Building Cafe after the event, from 18:00 - 19:00. To register your attendance, please visit the Eventbrite page.
