At the University colleagues can complete the Mental Health First Aid Training to develop knowledge and skills in supporting students' mental health. This course is a part of the University mental health and suicide awareness training.

The wellbeing training team have trained over 320 colleagues across the University as Mental Health First Aiders (for student support).

As a thank you, Wellbeing Services will be hosting a celebration and recognition event. MHFAiders are invited to drop in for tea and cake. This event is also open to any colleagues interested in being a MHFAider or who just want to find out more.
