The Faculty of HASS is excited to announce Oliver Gadsby, as our Guest Speaker

Oliver Gadsby in conversation with Professor Li Li and Professor Adam Watt, followed by a Q&A session hosted by Professor Fiona Cox.


Event details

Oliver Gadsby, Publisher and Charity Trustee, in conversation with Professor Li Li and Professor Adam Watt, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26th November, 17:00-18:00 on the University's Streatham Campus (Lecture Theatre 1, Queen's Building). There will be the option to join the event remotely, via Teams Webinar.

The conversation will explore the key role Oliver's undergraduate degree in French and German has played in his career and his experience of the powerful skill set that comes with knowledge of multiple languages.

The conversation will be followed by a Q&A for school students, hosted by Professor Fiona Cox, Head of the Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies department.

A drinks reception will take place in the Queen's Cafe after the event, from 18:00 - 19:00.
