Workshop: Pragmatics for Medievalists

This workshop aims to introduce the field of pragmatics, drawing on a combination of set interactive activities and participants’ own research material. It will comprise two sections: an introductory chat introducing participants to key theoretical principles, and a practical session where we will apply the theories and approaches to the attendees’ own data.
