2026 Exeter Alumni Boat Club Annual Dinner

The evening of Head of the River, and will be held at the Spencer Arms https://www.thespencerarms.com/ in Putney.

Arrival is from 18:00, to be seated for dinner by 19:00, finishing around 23:00. The dress code is black tie and club blazers if you have one.

£50 per ticket, to include a free drink on arrival, and a 3 course meal - please book here and select your food options and insert any allergies/dietaries we need to be aware of - we are limited to 60 attendees and so we will be taking bookings strictly on a first come first served basis, so do book quickly to avoid missing out!

There will be a bar for you to purchase you own drinks throughout the evening – so please join us to raise a glass to the Boat Club and celebrate the past, present, and future we continue to build together.

Alongside games of ‘Heads and Tails’ we would also like to undertake an auction – so if you, your family, or friends and relatives have access to tickets for sporting events (such as rugby, tennis at Wimbledon, football, F1, golf etc), or if you are a member of a golf club and could offer a 4 ball, or if you/your contacts have access to a holiday home that you could offer a weekend/weeks stay at – please email any offers to Dave Watson at d.watson@exeter.ac.uk so we can collate them for the evenings auction. On the day, Exeter aims to send five VIII’s down the Tideway alongside an Alumni VIII, marking the first time an Alumni eight has raced since 2019. If you are in London during the day and would like to support the crews, spectators will be watching the racing from the Putney Embankment. Please do feel free to join us and cheer Exeter on!
