It is that time of the year again!
You are cordially invited to join us at the 2nd Dead Important Festival on 23 March 2026 (15:30-17:30), at Forum Main Street, where the students from Dead Important: Policy from the Past module will showcase their projects that demonstrate how the past can inform and inspire our approaches to today's most pressing issues. This year, students from archaeology, history, communications, drama, and anthropology departments will show how we can mobilize historical knowledge to impact current approaches to a wide array of topics. They will be joined by colleagues from our department who will showcase their ongoing research projects within the department. Feel free to drop by and spread the word!
