The Construction of Exegetical Authority in 20th century tafsir: The Case of Bint al-ShÄtiʾ
Dr Shuruq Naguib will give a lecture on the Egyptian Qur’anic commentator, Bint al-Shati’, famous for her contribution to rhetorical analysis of the Qur’an, gender issues, and understanding the Qur’an in the light of contemporary structures of knowledge.
