Event details

Points on modular curves like X_0(N) have a description as elliptic curves together with some extra level structure. I will explain necklaces on elliptic curves which are the level structure for the more exotic modular curve associated to the normaliser of a non-split Cartan subgroup. I will explain how these necklaces are useful in understanding this curve and how we can calculate explicitly with them.
