Overview

André Tromlin is an Information Scientist and founded The Mental Elf in 2011 and has served as MD of Minervation Ltd, an evidence-based healthcare consultancy based in Oxford, since 2002. Through Mental Elf, Andre has been blogging and podcasting about mental health research, engaging both professionals and the public. Mental Elf is now a collaborative production by professionals with keen interest in evidence-based scientific communication.

This seminar series aims to support early career researchers (ECRs) in expanding the audience reach of their findings by learning how to connect and collaborate with community organisations, public-facing platforms, and content creators. Rather than focusing on creating new audiences, the series will demonstrate how researchers can tap into existing networks and intermediaries to disseminate research more effectively and meaningfully.

The series will bring together speakers from a range of academic and non-academic backgrounds, offering complementary perspectives on research dissemination, creating partnerships, and public engagement.
