Inaugural Lectures

Every year we celebrate our newly appointed professors by holding inaugural lectures. This gives our professors the opportunity present to their colleagues, friends and families about their work to date, current research and future plans.

Languages in a Global World

Languages in a Global World is held annually and brings together local Modern Foreign Language teachers and their GCSE and A-level students, University of Exeter alumni, and current staff and students of languages and international cultures at the University.

Creative Dialogues

‘Creative Dialogues’ is a series of exclusive ‘in-conversation’ events hosted by the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, showcasing a range of high-profile speakers who are leaders in their respective fields across the creative industries and Humanities.
