Associate Professor Angus Jones
Lead Clinical Academic for the Specialist Foundation Posts at Exeter
Angus Jones is an Associate Professor at the University of Exeter, and an Honorary Consultant Physician at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. He trained in medicine in London and completed his PhD with Professor Andrew Hattersley in Exeter, studying the clinical utility of C-peptide testing in diabetes management.

Professor Richard Neal
Lead Clinical Academic for the In-Practice Fellowship Posts at Exeter

Angela Shore, Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences, is the Director of the NIHR Exeter Clinical Research Facility for Experimental Medicine and Lead for the NIHR Bioresource Centre Exeter Common Diseases. She is Institution lead for the Wellcome Funded GW4 Clinical Academic Training Programme for Health Professionals (GW4-CAT HP) and a senior advisor to the Clinical Academic Training Programme at Exeter.

Lucy Hodges
BRC Training Manager and Research Inclusion Lead
As Training Manager and Research Inclusion Lead for the BRC, Lucy is responsible for delivering research training and a portfolio of training events across the NIHR Exeter BRC partnerships, as well as supporting other NIHR Exeter infrastructures. She also co-chairs the EDI Working Group for the NIHR Exeter BRC in collaboration with the CRF and works with the PPIE team to develop robust inclusive research practices.
