Entry requirements
The information below will allow you to check qualifications from your country or territory to see if they may be accepted for entry to the University of Exeter, and the equivalent grades required. Our course pages contain typical entry requirements that are commonly held by UK applicants. You can find out details on our English language requirements here.
Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Canada
For students not taking the International Baccalaureate, the University will accept a Canadian provincial high school / senior secondary school diploma for entry to year one of a Bachelors degree. Typically we require between 80–90% average across year 12 grades, plus any subject-specific requirements for the target course. Alberta and Quebec (DEC) are granted small (2–3%) more favourable requirements than those published here. For those students taking both IB and a provincial diploma, a dual offer may be given.
After submitting your UCAS application, please send a copy of your most recent transcript to our Admissions team at: ug-ad@exeter.ac.uk quoting your personal UCAS ID number in the email.
