Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Ghana
If you have already completed your A levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma, you will be eligible for direct entry if you meet your chosen programme's entry requirements.
If you hold the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSC), you will normally be expected to take a foundation programme, such as one of our International Study Centre International Foundation courses at Exeter’s Streatham Campus, to be eligible for entry onto one of our undergraduate courses.

Postgraduate Research
For entry onto postgraduate research programmes (including PhD) you will need to hold a relevant Masters degree, supported by a strong research proposal.

University of Exeter Postgraduate Taught Scholarships for Ghana
These scholarships help make sure aspiring students from this country can pursue their studies. There are scholarships available for January 2026 entry and September 2026 entry.
