AAA 9.5 overall to include 3 state matura exams with marks of 95%–85%

BBB 8 overall to include 3 state matura exams with marks of 80%–75%

Please note: The Atestats par visparejo videjo izglitibu (Attestation of General Secondary Education) would need to be supplemented by further study such as A levels, International Baccalaureate or a year at a Latvian University to be suitable to use for entry to undergraduate programmes.

Please note: Students who have completed a Magistra Diploms (Masters degree) or Doktors would also be considered if making a postgraduate application.

Postgraduate Research

For entry onto postgraduate research programmes (including PhD) you will need to hold a relevant Masters degree, supported by a strong research proposal.

Agent representatives

The University of Exeter has agreements with independent representatives in your country, who would be pleased to tell you more about the University's programmes and assist you in making an application. Most of our representatives offer their services to applicants for free. Those that do charge a fee must make this clear from the outset of their consultation with students and issue appropriate receipts. If you have any concerns about whether an agent is an authorised representative of the University of Exeter, please contact us. We are investing over £7m in a range of scholarships to support international and EU students paying international tuition fees, who choose Exeter for their studies in 2026/27.
