The information below will allow you to check qualifications from your country or territory to see if they may be accepted for entry to the University of Exeter, and the equivalent grades required. Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Lebanon
Students with A levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma, United States academic qualifications, or the Academic Baccalaureate (previously known as the International Arab Baccalaureate) can apply for direct entry. See individual undergraduate courses and our USA entry requirements for more information about entry using these qualifications. You can apply through UCAS.
The Baccalauréat Libanais and the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihiya or Thanawiyah) is not sufficient for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes. If you hold this, you will be eligible to take a recognised Foundation programme, such as one of our International Study Centre International Foundation courses at Exeter's Streatham Campus.

Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Lebanon
Postgraduate Taught
For direct entry onto our Masters programmes you will be required to hold a relevant Bachelors degree with a grade equivalent to a UK Second-class Honours (2:1 or 2:2). Check individual Masters courses for exact entry requirements.
Postgraduate Research
For entry onto postgraduate research programmes (including PhD) you will need to hold a relevant Masters degree, supported by a strong research proposal.

Said Foundation Scholarships
The University co-operates with the Said Foundation to offer scholarships to Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian (including Palestinians inside Israel) nationals who are resident in the Foundation’s target countries. The Foundation will consider Syrians residing elsewhere due to current circumstances in this country. The scheme provides full scholarships for taught Masters courses. Candidates must apply directly to the Foundation.
