Event details
Clean, renewable energy is a crucial element in the fight against climate change. Replacing fossil fuels with clean alternatives can both dramatically cut carbon emissions and also reduce air pollution.
Like many countries, the UK has a net zero target for 2050 and also has a goal of reducing emissions by 68% by 2030 compared with 1990 levels. How we produce and consume our energy will be critical to meeting these targets.
Join our expert panel as we look at the role of businesses, local communities and government in creating sustainable energy systems. We will consider how we can increase renewable energy production, expand distribution and improve infrastructure, and explore innovation in the sector.
You can pose your questions to the panel throughout the event, or submit them in advance via alumni@exeter.ac.uk
