Join us for an exciting night of science at the University of Exeter Living Systems Institute (LSI).

The LSI opened in 2016, pioneering new approaches to understanding living systems and the diseases that afflict them. Scientists in the LSI use the latest techniques to understand human, animal and plant diseases in a creative and collaborative environment. We invite you to find out more about this cutting-edge area of research and explore one of our newest facilities!

Come along to:

  • Find out how scientists use the latest techniques to understand human, animal and plant diseases
  • Discover how living systems work, from molecules to whole organisms
  • See demonstrations involving bacteria, algae, fruit flies and zebrafish
  • Participate in games, workshops and activities
  • Hear talks from leading scientists about their research

This event is aimed at participants of all ages. Attendance is free and no registration is required. Food and drinks will be available to purchase on the night from local vendors.
