How to apply for an online short course at the University of Exeter
The steps below will walk you through the application process for studying on an online short course with us - click on each step to find out more. If you get stuck, our Online Student team will be happy to help.
Step 1: Apply

Find the short course you are interested in and click Apply.
Complete a streamlined application form and press Submit.
If you’ve already done a short course with us, the application form is prepopulated with the information you’ve already given us.
Step 2: Offer
Step 2: Offer
We will check your application and offer you a place straight away if you meet the automatic acceptance criteria.
If you’re studying from outside the UK or if you have a sponsor, we need to manually check your application. We’ll confirm your offer within a few working days.
Step 3: Accept
Step 3: Accept
When you get your offer, you need to agree to our terms and conditions and click Accept to confirm your place on the short course.
Step 4: Register
You can register and become a member of the University of Exeter community as soon as you click Accept.
If you’ve done a short course already in the academic year, you don’t need to register again.
Finally, you provide payment for your short course. Now you’re ready to start when the course starts.
