Centre for Research in Educational Equalities, Societies and Change (CREESC)
CREESC is a wide-ranging new interdisciplinary research centre exploring issues of inequality, social justice and social mobility across all educational settings and phases, within the UK and beyond. It draws together established expertise spanning the sociology of education, critical policy analysis, psychology and social statistics, including the work of:
- Centre for Social Mobility
- Education Policy Research Group
- Sociology of Education Research Group
Current research studies within CREESC include those focusing on widening access to higher education, academisation policies, elective home education, gender-based violence, coastal communities and care-experienced learners.
