Food for Change exhibition, 28 October – 1 November

The Food for Change programme used food to inspire individuals to learn new skills and to progress into work or education. Participants in the programme used photography to document their experience of gaining new food skills through workshops with community chefs and growers in Cornwall.

University of Exeter researchers worked alongside the project, using the photo-voice method to understand how food can empower and inspire people to take a greater role in their communities and local economies. A selection of participant photographs were displayed in the ESI Creative Exchange space that explores their experiences of change through taking part in the programme. The Food for Change exhibition exploreed the impacts the programme having, what change looks like and what change feels like for participants of the programme.
