About RIT ADA

The ADA Research IT Team accelerates Exeter’s AI-enabled research by designing, building and operating reusable platforms, tools and methods that researchers can adopt quickly and safely. We partner with academic teams and Research Software Engineers to translate emerging needs into practical, scalable solutions across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments, taking ideas from prototype to production-grade capability and repeatable workflows. We also strengthen research capability through skills development and training, helping researchers and professional services teams adopt new ways of working, modern good practice, and reproducible approaches.

Our focus is on innovation with integrity: robust engineering, privacy- and security-by-design, sustainable computing practice, and open, responsible ways of working wherever appropriate, so the University can deliver excellent, collaborative research and measurable real-world impact, aligned with Strategy 2030 and the Research & Innovation direction.
